ArcticPRO®RHS®980 User-Friendly Operation
RTI's ArcticPRO®RHS®980 mounts its control panel in a revolving turret that rotates 90 degrees in either direction for unrestricted viewing capability by the service technician. This eliminates machine repositioning after vehicle hook-up.
The RHS®980 control panel incorporates a high-visibility digital display with poly-composite, tactile button keypad; large diameter, easy-to-read high and low pressure gauges; easy-to-reach power switch for exceptional technician/machine user ergonomics and textured coating applied to the control panel surface to hide dirt and reduce glare in bright lighting conditions.

ArcticPRO® digital controls feature easy-to-understand, EZ-to-use
menu-driven programmable functions, intuitive plain language technician prompts and easy-to-use function input and display. An extra large character (4 X 20) LCD display is standard.
Comprehensive Unit FunctionalityFully automatic sequence programmability allows the technician to program the unit to recover, recycle, vacuum, leak test and charge without supervision. After a refrigerant evacuation cycle, a vacuum level evaluation is performed to identify possible leaks in the automobile system. The RHS®980 monitors new refrigerant use and will notify the technician when additional refrigerant is required.
A filter-life monitor provides a filter replacement notification when filter servicing is required. Also, an automatic air purge occurs to eliminate harmful air from entering the vehicle's A/C system and the unit performs system automatic oil recovery & integrated oil charge. The ArcticPRO®RHS®980 is pre-programmed with English, Spanish, French, German. Other languages can be accommodated.
A charge capacities database furnished by MOTOR Information Systems is available as an option. This allows service technicians to easily determine and upload correct refrigerant & oil charge capacities for faster service turn-around.
