The most expedient and practical method determined by RTI over the past 15 years has been for RTI equipment users to assist in the initial diagnosis and repair of their A/C service equipment when practical. This is accomplished by calling RTI Technical Support directly when an occasional issue arises. Calls are then fielded by RTI service technicians who can diagnose a problem "on-the-spot" by having the end-user service tech re-create the problem real time. If parts are required, RTI Tech Support will ship them via next day air. This method accomplishes several important objectives:
The end-user service technician becomes very familiar with the operation and troubleshooting of the A/C machine.
The end-user service tech gains valuable insight regarding maintenance practices for the unit.
Diagnosis of issues is resolved very quickly and correction in many instances occurs right on the spot.
48-Hour Service Turnaround
Because of RTI's equipment support philosophy, average time to get an RTI unit back up and running is 48 hours providing the end-user participates in the diagnostic/repair process as outlined above. In most instances (about 95% of the time) RTI Tech Support is able to get the RTI unit up and running as a result of the first call to Tech Support! Certainly, if the end-user with the assistance of RTI Tech Support is unable to remedy an operational or service issue, RTI will then dispatch the nearest authorized service center to go to the user's place of business and repair the unit.
